Not terribly old, but not terribly recent, either. I have something of an addiction, it seems, for drawing characters and then just completely destroying their clothing. It makes it so much more interesting, though.
In this case, Starlight. I messed up a little on her corset and had to erase the lines (b/c they were screwed up... in ink, dammit), thereby making her torso look rather boxy and chubby, comparatively speaking. I rather like her outfit, though, and I'm enjoying the color scheme. It's not often I do blues and greys. I like to think that she's an Unlikely Heroine who was just called away from some Fancy Formal Event by Unforeseen Circumstance and has just been through a hell of a Cataclysmic Battle. ^_^
wow pretty clothing, and her face is quite descriptive as well. i love simple character pictures like this. i wouldnt have noticed anything wrong with the chest unless you had said anything. it doesnt look too bad at all, really. i think its the boobs that make the chest look a little off. the one of the left is about three times as large as the one of the right.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
